Golden Pass achieves seven year safety milestone

April 3, 2015 – Golden Pass LNG continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to safety, reaching four years without a recordable injury.
“I am very proud of the entire Golden Pass team for reaching this significant milestone,” said Eric Pletcher, president of Golden Pass LNG.  “Our employees work hard to ensure their own safety and the safety of their coworkers in pursuit of our vision of an accident and incident free workplace.”
Through March 2015, Golden Pass employees worked safely for 1,475 days and completed over 700,000 safe work hours.

The Golden Pass LNG Terminal near Sabine Pass, Texas, is a joint venture formed by affiliates of three of the world’s largest and most experienced oil and gas companies: Qatar Petroleum (70%), ExxonMobil (17.6%) and ConocoPhillips (12.4%). Completed in 2010, the Golden Pass LNG Terminal is among the largest in the world, capable of importing approximately 2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day through its dual berth ship docks.
